Information Message for U.S. Citizens: Resumption of All Consular Services

The U.S. Embassy will return to normal operations Monday, August 14, 2017.  Please monitor news outlets to remain informed of local developments, and act prudently when moving about.

U.S. citizens traveling to or residing in Nairobi should enroll in the Department of State’s Smart Traveler Enrollment Program (STEP) at https://step.state.gov.  STEP enrollment gives you the latest security updates, and makes it easier for the U.S. Embassy to contact you in an emergency.
